The Charity folded earlier in the year and the specialist nurses were given three months notice. I heard last night that some are soon to finish. Both my daughter and I were able to access a specialist nurse when we were having treatment and they provided invaluable support at a difficult time. This is a cruel blow for people with cancer and I will be taking the issue to the Cancer Focus Group with a view to writing to the Health minister asking for continued funding
