Rhondda Breast Friends
Macmillan Training Day, 6th Oct PDF Print E-mail

Sally & I went to Bridgend for a training day on Tuesday, October 6. Our work with the cancer information library was celebrated and the scheme is now being considered in other local authorities across Wales.

The media training workshop looked at how “telling your story” was a powerful way of getting your message across and  RBF news items were used as examples of good practice and how to engage with the media.

The Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer facilities, previously reported in this column, is now gathering pace and workshops are being held in our area. If you would like to find our more contact Nicola Cook on 01904 756416
